OUR STORY

We were neighbors for the longest time in Cincinnati—living just a few doors apart in the same building, probably passing each other a hundred times without even knowing it. Same hallways, same mailroom, same “wait, don’t I know you?” energy. But somehow, we’d never actually met.

That changed in 2021, thanks to a wedding invite. One of us (the designer) was asked by a neighbor to create theirs, and the other (the surprise plus-one) showed up to the first meeting for moral support. A few minutes into the conversation, something just clicked. It was supposed to be all about fonts and patterns—but instead, it set the pattern for everything that would follow.

From there, it was late-night tea with skyline views, long walks that turned into even longer talks, dance parties, picnics in the park and music constantly playing in the background of our story. We explored the city side by side—trying new spots, making memories in old ones, and finding home not in a place, but in each other.

Now, we're continuing our story in New York City—new streets to wander, new rhythms to dance to, but the same love, laughter, and late-night conversations that started it all. What began with a design project for someone else has turned into our own project—designing a life together.
